"Are you tired?" I asked James as I laid beside him. He let his arms rap around me.
"No." I looked at him and saw the exhaustion in his eyes after chasing me around all day trying to talk to me about the mistake he made before. I'll admit it, I overreacted but to tell his ex girlfriend he is single and not with me is like telling her that he is up for grabs and take him while you can. He said he will make it up to me somehow but he didn't have to. All I wanted from him now is for him to fall asleep so I can watch him till the sunrises and we have to go back to school.
"Are you thirsty? I haven't seen you feed in three weeks." He asked looking at me concerned.
"I'm fine. I don't feed in front of you."I answered wrapping my arms around him to hug him tightly.  
"Why? Do I know your meals?" I got irritated.
"Babe, I feed off of animals. Not humans. I would never harm a human. I used to be one!" I stared at him watching the shocked look form on his face.
"Seriously?" He asked.
"Why is that so hard to believe?" I asked back.
"Well, for the time that I've known you you've been a vampire. I cant picture you as a human." I kissed him to shut him up. He loved it when I kissed him... He loves kissing so he didn't want to stop but I did.
"Go to sleep." I said and rested my head on his chest.
"I don't want to." He said being stubborn.
"Why?"
"Because. You stay awake." He said.
"I don't have a choice. Please go to sleep." He sighed.
"I'll try but I wont enjoy it." He said smiling. It didn't take long for him to fall asleep but shortly after he did a knock came to my door.
"Hello?" I heard Leanna whisper from behind the door. I got up quickly enough to not wake James. I opened the door.
"Alexia! I forgot to tell you. Today at school someone was looking for James. He was really tall and obviously not human." She gave me the news.
"Sounds like my father." I said angrily.
"You have a father?" Leanna asked stepping into the house. My house.
"He is not actually my father. He found me after I was changed. He took care of me and taught me control. Which is why your not my dinner and James is not my enemy." I said closing the door. " I just don't know why he is looking for James and not me. He doesn't even know James. Then again my father was known for finding and destroying the enemy. Not caring who they were or the life they had. Oh no! James is his next victim!"
"Well what are we going to do?" Leanna asked sitting on the couch.
"We are not going to tell James of this. Right now we are just going to let him sleep. I will find and talk to my father here. Try to convince him that the werewolves here are no harm. Though most of them are a pain in the ass." I answered sitting next to her.
"What are the chances that your plan is gonna work." Leanna asked again staring at James as he slept.
"Not very likely." I sighed. No one is gonna hurt my James. Not even my father.
